This vintage delivery bike came to us as just a frame with most of its original rod brakes hanging off or missing all together. To start the restoration we fully stripped the frame of any old adornments and broken parts before inspecting it fully and getting busy installing the new parts.

We wanted to improve stopping power and keep the clean look so we laced up a pair of classy silver drum brake hubs to Halo’s deep back rims to match the frame. The cream tyres top things off with a nod to the historical nature of the original build.

Pairing an old saddle with the swept back bars and matching tape gives a very upright and comfortable position ideal for shopping and cafe runs around Southsea.

In order to make the most of the front basket we custom build a matching box out of recycled wood to ensure nothing falls out during the ride.

As Portsmouth is so flat we opted to keep things simple and set the drivetrain up in a nice comfortable single speed gear. This gives you a super reliable, highly functional and very cool city bike!
