This Moulton APB was in a bit of a state when it first came in the shop. The drivetrain was seized solid, the paint was faded and worn and virtually every component could have done with being replaced. The time was ripe for a full restoration! We painstakingly disassembled the frame, stripped it down to the bare metal and beautiful welds. Then clear coated it before servicing the suspension and rebuilding as a Southsea cruiser. Fixed of course!
The wheels were handbuilt by us especially for this project. We used Gusset 20″ BMX rims laced to a set of vintage hubs with Sapim spokes. Despite being tempted to throw on some chunky off road tyres we went road (for now) with the Schwalbe Kojak.
