The Big Block is an ideal fixed gear frame for anyone looking to ride street. Yeah of course it can be used on the track as well, but real world road riding is what it’s really designed for. It’s drilled for brakes both front and rear so switching to single speed is no issue, clears 32mm tyres and has a water bottle mount on the seat tube. We’ve also had no issue with toe overlap despite the geo still offering a traditionally aggressive position.

All City’s own 612 Select double-butted cro-moly frame and forks make for a very comfy, but fun ride and is topped off with a set of their signature Hennepin Bridge dropouts. These dropouts have built in tensioner screws to make getting the perfect chain tension a sinch. The result… no more slop in your chain while track standing the lights! Sticking with the real world use theme the frame has been E.D. coated for rust prevention before painting.

Power transfer is spot on through the Omnium cranks and the wheels are a mix of Halo hubs with H Plus Son Archetype rims, custom build by us, wrapped up in a set of 28mm Conti 4 season tyres for all year round use. The rest of the build is finished off with a Thomson Elite seatpost, Fizik arione vs x saddle and a pair of XT pedals.
